Anxiety Help - ADD and Generalized Anxiety Disorder

ADD and Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Yes, it is possible but also consider that your symptoms might have changed between the psychologist and the psychiatrist.

Please consider meeting with another professional (counselor, psychiatrist, etc.) and discussing in detail what is going on to clarify a diagnosis (Any type of these mental health professionals can diagnose anxiety, ADD, and other DSM diagnoses).

Whoever you work with should be able to explain how you meet DSM criteria for a diagnosis - ADD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, or anything else.
